The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded four districts/cities in Southeast Sulawesi with a weekly average vaccination rate above the regional average, which currently stands at 436.44 doses as of Monday, April 18, 2022.
The three top districts/cities with average vaccination rates above 1,000 doses are Konawe Selatan, Konawe, and Kolaka, with 905 doses, 639 doses, and 571 doses respectively.
Konawe Selatan recorded the highest weekly average vaccination rate in Southeast Sulawesi with 905 doses. As of yesterday, a total of 273,810 doses have been used. Based on the national dashboard recapitulation, the complete vaccination rate in this region has reached 55.22 percent.
According to the Ministry of Health, the available vaccine stock in this district will run out in 26 days. This remaining usage period is calculated based on the remaining stock of 23,582 doses and the highest vaccine usage rate in Southeast Sulawesi.
Following Konawe with a vaccination rate of 639 doses. The currently available vaccine stock is 31,858 doses. This stock is estimated to last 49 days.
Next is Kolaka with a weekly average vaccination rate of 571 doses. The complete vaccination coverage has reached 72.53 percent. Buton has a vaccination rate of 546 doses and a complete vaccination coverage of 55.75%, and Wakatobi has a vaccination rate of 326 doses and a complete vaccination coverage of 54.59%.
Some of the regions outside Java with the highest average vaccination rates include Simalungun, Rokan Hulu, and Lampung Tengah, with average vaccination rates of 7,506 doses, 6,305 doses, and 6,083 doses respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
