Average Years of Schooling of Mentawai Islands Regency Residents up to Grade VIII in 2023

The average years of schooling (AYS) for residents aged 25 and over in the Mentawai Islands, West Sumatra, reached 7.76 years in 2023.

According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the AYS in this region is below the average for West Sumatra Province, which reached 9.28 years in 2023.
