The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) notes that at least one regency/city has a Bed Occupancy Ratio (BOR) above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 1.45 percent. This is a decrease compared to last week's figure of 1.51 percent, based on data from Monday, July 4, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with the highest COVID-19 BOR, exceeding 17.46 percent, are Fakfak, Manggarai Timur, Balangan, West Jakarta City, and Sorong, with values of 100 percent, 37.5 percent, 23.08 percent, 19.15 percent, and 17.46 percent respectively.
A recapitulation of national COVID-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows that the BOR in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. A daily BOR higher than the previous day was recorded in 41 regencies/cities, while 43 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak, Manggarai Timur, and Balangan, with BORs of 100 percent, 37.5 percent, and 23.08 percent respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
