"The President (Prabowo Subianto) decided to revoke the permits of 28 companies proven to have committed violations," said Prasetyo during a press conference at Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Tuesday (January 20, 2026).
According to Prasetyo, these companies committed various violations, such as conducting business activities outside the granted permit area, operating in prohibited areas including protected forest areas, and administrative violations.
"Furthermore, some violations were in the form of unfulfilled obligations to the state, such as taxes," he added, as reported by Katadata.co.id.
