Papua's First Dose Vaccination Rate Reaches 29.62 Percent of Target

As of Thursday, January 20, 2022, Papua Province has achieved a 29.62% vaccination rate for the first dose. This equates to 765,210 individuals vaccinated out of a target of 2.58 million. The second dose vaccination rate reached 21.56% of the target as of the previous day.

By target group, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 19,530 individuals. For the first dose, 19,530 people were vaccinated (101.3% of the target), and for the second dose, 95.07% or 7,252 individuals were vaccinated.

For public sector workers, the target was 289,920 individuals. The first dose vaccination reached 172,130 individuals (59.37% of the target), and the second dose reached 50.86%, or 147,460 individuals.

For the elderly, the target was 177,360 individuals. For the first dose, 24,910 individuals were vaccinated (14.04% of the target). The second dose reached 10.25%, or 18,180 individuals.

For the vulnerable general public, the target was 1.69 million individuals. For the first dose, 436,280 individuals were vaccinated (26.74% of the target). The second dose reached 18.16%, or 291,760 individuals.

For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 407,850 individuals. For the first dose, 92,850 individuals were vaccinated (22.77% of the target). The second dose reached 16.15%, or 65,890 individuals.
