The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 84 regencies/cities with a weekly Covid-19 positive confirmation rate above the national average, currently recorded at 3.63 per 100,000 population/week (data as of Friday, July 22, 2022).

A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in positive confirmations in most regencies/cities outside Java. Sixty-six regencies/cities recorded higher daily positive confirmations than before, while 32 regencies/cities recorded lower positive confirmations.
Areas outside Java with the highest positive confirmation rates include Palangkaraya, Bontang, and Banjarbaru, with positive confirmation rates of 37.87, 24.8, and 22.13 per 100,000 population/week, respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
