The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) noted that at least four regencies/cities have a BOR above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 6.9 percent. This average is down from last week's 8.04 percent, based on data from Wednesday, December 14, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with the highest COVID-19 BOR exceeding 55.17 percent are Musi Rawas Utara, Fakfak, Belitung Timur, Tasikmalaya, and Gorontalo, with values of 100 percent, 100 percent, 77.27 percent, 76.19 percent, and 55.17 percent respectively.
A national COVID-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that the BOR in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. A daily BOR higher than the previous day was recorded in 66 regencies/cities, while 105 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Musi Rawas Utara, Fakfak, and Belitung Timur, with BORs of 100 percent, 100 percent, and 77.27 percent respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
