Bekasi's air quality is the worst in the Jabodetabek area today, according to the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK)'s Air Pollutant Standard Index (ISPU) data. Bekasi's air quality index was recorded at 132 on Monday, October 2nd, 2023, at 11:00 WIB.

East Jakarta follows with an air quality index of 129, and North Jakarta is third with a score of 100.

For reference, KLHK categorizes air quality based on the following ISPU ranges:

* 51-100: Moderate
* 101-200: Unhealthy
* 201-300: Very Unhealthy
* 300+: Hazardous

The air quality index (ISPU) is monitored at 72 stations spread across 31 provinces.
