The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 127 districts/cities with weekly tracing rates above the national average, currently recorded at 2.8 percent as of Tuesday, November 1, 2022.
The top five districts/cities with tracing rates exceeding 20.62 percent are Surabaya City, West Lombok, Semarang City, Mojokerto City, and Pasuruan, with values of 30 percent, 28 percent, 24.94 percent, 22.64 percent, and 20.62 percent respectively.
A national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in tracing rates in most districts/cities outside Java. A higher than previous daily tracing rate was recorded in 33 districts/cities, while 32 districts/cities recorded lower tracing rates.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest tracing rates include West Lombok, South Aceh, and Bima City, with tracing rates of 28 percent, 20 percent, and 20 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
