The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) notes that at least one regency/city has a weekly BOR above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 8.5 percent. This average is up from last week's 7.7 percent, based on data from Tuesday, November 15, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with COVID-19 BOR above 45.4 percent are Fakfak, Kutai Barat, Palembang City, Muna, and Rembang, with values of 100 percent, 56.15 percent, 48.51 percent, 45.71 percent, and 45.4 percent, respectively.
A recapitulation of national COVID-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the BOR in most regencies/cities outside Java. A daily BOR higher than before was recorded in 104 regencies/cities, while 61 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak, Kutai Barat, and Palembang City, with BORs of 100 percent, 56.15 percent, and 48.51 percent, respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
