The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) notes that at least two regencies/cities have a weekly BOR above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 5.78 percent. This is down from last week's 6.46 percent, based on data from Wednesday, December 21, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with COVID-19 BOR rates above 52.5 percent are Musi Rawas Utara, Fakfak, Tulang Bawang, Kolaka, and Muna, with values of 100 percent, 100 percent, 54.78 percent, 52.63 percent, and 52.5 percent respectively.
A national COVID-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that the BOR in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. Fifty regencies/cities recorded a higher daily BOR than before, while 99 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Musi Rawas Utara, Fakfak, and Tulang Bawang, with BORs of 100 percent, 100 percent, and 54.78 percent respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
