Several districts/cities in South Sumatra Province still record a relatively low second-dose vaccination rate compared to other areas. Some of these districts/cities include Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, Banyuasin Regency, and Musi Rawas Regency.
As of yesterday's data, these three regions have only completed 1 million doses for the second dose vaccination out of the expected target of 1.5 million vaccine recipients.
Ogan Komering Ilir Regency is ranked first. As of yesterday, the second-dose vaccination in this region has reached 66.53 percent. This is the lowest figure compared to the other 17 districts/cities. As for the first dose, as of yesterday, 92.89 percent has been achieved, or 976,360 vaccine recipients.
This district/city's vaccination program targets 577,930 participants. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination last week in Ogan Komering Ilir was 1,930 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is currently recorded at 64,870 doses.
Next is Banyuasin Regency. For the second dose vaccination, this area ranks second lowest. With a vaccination target of 625,020 participants, 66.79 percent or 417,460 participants have been successfully vaccinated.
The first dose achievement is recorded at 91.99 percent, or 1.03 million vaccine recipients.
Another is Musi Rawas Regency, ranked third. With a vaccination target of 295,010 participants, 67.53 percent or 199,230 participants have been successfully vaccinated for the second dose. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination last week in Musi Rawas was 2,290 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is currently recorded at 52,000 doses.
Regarding the provincial-level vaccination achievement, the total first-dose vaccination in South Sumatra has reached 94.81 percent, or 5.98 million vaccine recipients. The second-dose vaccination has reached 74.53 percent, reaching 4.7 million vaccine recipients.
