The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 131 regencies/cities with weekly tracing rates above the national average, currently recorded at 3.03 percent as of Wednesday, November 30, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with rates exceeding 24.6 percent are Lombok Barat, Surabaya City, Semarang City, Mojokerto City, and Metro City, with respective values of 32.89 percent, 30 percent, 27.86 percent, 24.88 percent, and 24.6 percent.
A national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in tracing in most regencies/cities outside Java. Daily tracing rates higher than before were recorded in 42 regencies/cities, while 30 regencies/cities recorded lower tracing rates.
Areas outside Java with the highest tracing rates include Lombok Barat, Metro City, and Serdang Bedagai, with tracing rates of 32.89 percent, 24.6 percent, and 20 percent, respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
