Several districts/cities in South Sumatra Province still record a relatively low level of second-dose vaccination compared to other areas. Some of these districts/cities include Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, Banyuasin Regency, and Musi Rawas Utara Regency.
As of today, in the vaccination program, these three regencies have only completed 853,960 second doses out of the expected target of 1.34 million vaccine recipients.
Ogan Komering Ilir Regency is ranked first. As of yesterday, the second-dose vaccination in this region has reached 62.45%. This is the lowest compared to the other 17 districts/cities. As for the first dose, 91.2% has been achieved today, or 921,240 vaccine recipients.
This district/city's vaccination program targets 577,930 participants. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination last week in Ogan Komering Ilir was 1,934 participants. The current vaccine stock is 64,868 doses.
Next is Banyuasin Regency. For the second dose vaccination, this area is second lowest. With a target of 625,020 vaccine recipients, 64.3% or 401,880 recipients have been vaccinated.
The first dose achievement is recorded at 91.04%, or 997,780 vaccine recipients.
Then there is Musi Rawas Utara Regency in third place. With a target of 139,370 vaccine recipients, 65.4% or 91,144 recipients have received the second dose. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination last week in Musi Rawas Utara was zero participants. The currently available vaccine stock is 19,568 doses.
Regarding vaccination achievement at the provincial level, the total first-dose vaccination in South Sumatra has reached 93.96%, or 5.92 million vaccine recipients. The second-dose vaccination has reached 72.34%, covering 4.56 million vaccine recipients.
