The number of people in North Sulawesi who have received their first dose of the vaccine has reached 1.36 million.

As of Wednesday, November 17, 2021, North Sulawesi Province had achieved 65.13% coverage for the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. This equates to 1.36 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 2.08 million. The second dose vaccination rate reached 37.84% of the target.

By target group, the vaccination details to combat the COVID-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 21,780 recipients. For the first dose, 21,780 people were vaccinated (127.88% of the target), and for the second dose, 116.35% of the target was achieved (25,340 people).

For public sector workers, the target was 194,980 people. The first dose vaccination reached 270,090 people (138.52% of the target), and the second dose reached 110.42% of the target, with 215,290 doses administered.

The elderly target was 259,460 people. For the first dose, 134,680 people received the vaccine (51.91% of the target). The second dose reached only 30.04% of the target, with 77,950 doses administered.

The target for the vulnerable general public was 1.36 million people. For the first dose, 730,180 people were vaccinated (53.79% of the target). The second dose reached only 27.19% of the target, with 368,780 doses administered.

For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 245,340 people. The first dose was administered to 191,530 people (78.07% of the target). The second dose reached only 40.38% of the target, with 99,060 doses administered.
