Good News! Indonesia Ranks 4th Highest in Asia for COVID-19 Recovery Rate

Indonesia's COVID-19 recovery rate ranks fourth highest in Asia. Based on data from the Ministry of Health, Indonesia's COVID-19 recovery rate was 80.6% as of Friday, July 30, 2021, at 09:45 WIB. This figure is still below the global average recovery rate of 90.5%.

Indonesia has recorded a total of 3,331,206 COVID-19 cases. Of these, 2,686,170 patients have recovered. Jakarta is the province with the highest number of recoveries, with 768,516 recovered cases, or 28.6% of the total cases. West Java follows with 461,470 recovered cases, followed by Central Java (295,184) and East Java (221,778).

Meanwhile, India holds the first position, recording 30,736,241 recovered cases, equivalent to 97.4%. Turkey and Iran are just below, with 5,443,501 and 3,329,065 cases respectively.
