West Kalimantan's first dose vaccination coverage reached 75.66 percent on Saturday, January 29, 2022. This figure is equivalent to 2.93 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 3.87 million people. Meanwhile, the second dose vaccination has reached 54.35 percent of the target as of yesterday.
Based on target groups, the details of the vaccination to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: the health workforce group with a target of 25,020 recipients. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully carried out for 25,020 people (141.47 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 137.04 percent or 25,020 people were vaccinated.
Vaccination for public officials targeted 291,650 people. The first dose vaccination reportedly reached 285,670 people (97.95 percent of the target), and the second dose reached 91 percent, or 265,390 people.
Then, vaccination for the elderly targeted 350,690 people. For the first dose, it has been given to 183,600 people (52.35 percent of the target). For the second dose, only 33.33 percent, or 116,890 people, have been vaccinated.
Vaccination for the vulnerable general public targeted 2.64 million people. For the first dose, vaccination has reportedly been given to 1.91 million people (73.67 percent of the target). For the second dose, only 50.66 percent, or 1.3 million people, have been vaccinated.
Another target group is adolescents aged 12-17 years. In this region, the target set is 569,700 people. For the first dose, 439,860 people have been vaccinated (77.21 percent of the target). For the second dose, only 61.88 percent has been achieved, with 352,560 people vaccinated.
