1.43 million people in Riau have received their first dose of the vaccine.

As of Monday, September 27, 2021, the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination coverage in Riau Province reached 29.58 percent. This equates to 1.43 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 4.84 million people. The second dose vaccination coverage reached 17.94 percent of the target.

Based on target groups, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 32,920 recipients. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully carried out for 32,920 people (133.06 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 123.02 percent or 40,500 people were vaccinated.

For public officials, the target was 349,420 people. The first dose vaccination reportedly reached 567,370 people (162.38 percent of the target), and the second dose reached 109.56 percent, or 382,810 people.

For the elderly, the target was 322,470 people. For the first dose, 59,250 people were vaccinated (18.37 percent of the target). For the second dose, only 12.75 percent or 41,110 people were vaccinated.

For the vulnerable general public, the target was 3.45 million people. For the first dose, 693,990 people were vaccinated (21.36 percent of the target). For the second dose, only 11.22 percent or 354,110 people were vaccinated.

For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 684,190 people. For the first dose, 24,160 people were vaccinated (3.53 percent of the target). For the second dose, only 2.5 percent or 17,080 people were vaccinated.
