The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 138 districts/cities with weekly tracing rates above the national average, currently recorded at 2.9 percent as of Sunday, November 20, 2022.
The top five districts/cities with rates exceeding 22.9 percent are Mojokerto City, West Lombok, Metro City, Semarang City, and Tasikmalaya, with values of 25.67 percent, 25.52 percent, 24.88 percent, 24.79 percent, and 22.9 percent respectively.
A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in tracing in most districts/cities outside Java. A higher than previous daily tracing rate was recorded in 24 districts/cities, while 17 districts/cities recorded lower tracing rates.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest tracing rates include West Lombok, Metro City, and Karimun, with tracing rates of 25.52 percent, 24.88 percent, and 20.31 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
