National Vaccination Update: Total Dose 1 Reaches 202.95 Million (Saturday, August 13th)

National COVID-19 vaccination as of Saturday, August 13, 2022, has reached 375.71 million doses. This includes 202.95 million doses of the first dose, 170.49 million doses of the second dose, and 2.28 million doses for community-based vaccination programs.

A total of 2.04 million healthcare workers have received the first dose, exceeding the target by 138.58%. 1.98 million healthcare workers have received the second dose, exceeding the target by 135.12%. The government also recommends a third dose for healthcare workers, although the percentage achieved is not specified.

For public service workers, 18.35 million people (105.89% of the target) have received the first dose, and 16.79 million (96.88% of the target) have received the second dose.

Initially, the elderly were prioritized. To date, 18.19 million (84.38% of the target) have received the first dose, and 14.79 million (68.6% of the target) have received the second dose.

Starting in July 2021, the vaccination program targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 116.13 million people (82.24% of the target) have received the first dose, and 96.35 million (68.23% of the target) have received the second dose.

Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17 years, 25.53 million (95.59% of the target) have received the first dose, and 22.06 million (82.61% of the target) have received the second dose.
