Several districts/cities in South Sumatra province still record relatively low vaccination rates compared to other areas. Some of these districts/cities include Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, Lubuk Linggau City, and Ogan Komering Ulu Timur Regency.
As of Saturday, March 12, 2022, these three areas had only completed 1.11 million doses of the first vaccine shot out of a target of 1.24 million vaccine recipients.
Ogan Komering Ilir Regency is ranked first in terms of low vaccination rates. As of yesterday, this region has completed 89.02% of its vaccination program, the lowest among the other 17 districts/cities. The vaccination program in this regency targets 577,930 recipients. Last week's average vaccination rate was 1,934 recipients. The available vaccine stock is 64,868 doses.
Next is Lubuk Linggau City, ranked second lowest. With a vaccination target of 171,530 recipients, the vaccination realization has reached 89.53%, or 153,570 recipients.
Following is Ogan Komering Ulu Timur Regency, ranked third lowest. With a vaccination target of 489,960 recipients, the vaccination realization has reached 89.86%, or 440,300 recipients.
At the provincial level, the total first dose vaccination in South Sumatra has reached 92.93%, covering 5.86 million vaccine recipients. The second dose vaccination has reached 68.92%, covering 4.34 million vaccine recipients.
