The majority of West Java residents have received the Covid-19 vaccine at government vaccination centers.

The majority of COVID-19 vaccine recipients in West Java received their vaccinations at government-provided facilities. This is shown by the results of a survey conducted by the Katadata Insight Center (KIC) in collaboration with Change.org and KawalCovid19.

36.1% of respondents stated they were vaccinated at government-run vaccination centers, both regional and central. Meanwhile, 18.6% of respondents received their vaccinations at private sector vaccination centers. These private sector vaccination centers were located in various places, such as restaurants, universities, or other private companies.

Furthermore, 16.8% of respondents received their vaccinations at community health centers (puskesmas), and 12.2% at hospitals. Another 12% received their vaccines at their workplace.

In total, 80.5% of survey respondents had received the COVID-19 vaccine, while the remaining 19.5% had not. Among those who had not been vaccinated, 61.2% wanted to be vaccinated, while 38.8% did not.

The KIC survey on COVID-19 vaccination in West Java involved 1,755 respondents. The survey was conducted from August 6 to 22, 2021, using an online survey method.
