At that time, Jayapura's air quality was categorized as "good," meaning pollutant levels were very minimal. Semarang was second with an air quality index of 36, followed by Ternate in third place with an index of 40.

Therefore, on Monday, October 9th, 2023, at 6:00 AM WIB, cities with good air quality were Jayapura, Semarang, Ternate, Balikpapan, Bulungan, Malang, Banda Aceh, Manado, and Denpasar. One other city, Palu, had moderate air quality.
