Next, deaths in Colombia increased by 28.75%, Chile recorded 167 deaths (up 2.45%), and deaths in Costa Rica decreased by 0%.

The total number of deaths in the Americas over the past seven days was 3,281. This accounts for 33.46 percent of global deaths caused by the Covid-19 virus, totaling 9,806. The number of deaths in the Americas decreased compared to the previous seven-day accumulation of 3,552.
