At that time, Bengkulu's air quality was categorized as good, meaning the level of pollutants in the air was very minimal. Balikpapan was second with an air quality index of 35, followed by Malang in third place with an index of 39.

Therefore, on Monday, September 4th, 2023, at 8:00 AM WIB, cities with good air quality were Bengkulu, Balikpapan, Malang, Serang, and Kendari. The other five cities—Ternate, Depok, Yogyakarta, Tanjung Pinang, and Solo—had moderate air quality.
