Indonesia's Total Recovered COVID-19 Cases Reach 3.9 Million, Fourth Highest in Asia

The total number of recovered Covid-19 patients in Indonesia reached 3,989,326 as of Sunday, September 19, 2021. According to Worldometers data, this is the fourth highest in Asia.

India ranks first with the highest number of recovered Covid-19 patients at 32,707,589. Turkey is second with 6,337,070, and Iran is third with 4,764,998 recovered patients.

The number of newly recovered patients in Indonesia as of Sunday, September 19, 2021, reached 6,186. This figure is the eleventh highest daily recovery rate in Asia after Mongolia with 6,566. India ranks first with 43,238 recovered Covid-19 patients.

The government is still striving to suppress the number of Covid-19 cases in the country by implementing Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) Levels 4, 3, and 2 in Java-Bali, starting September 7.

Meanwhile, the public is still urged to adhere to health protocols (prokes) by wearing masks, maintaining distance, and washing hands with running water. The public is also encouraged to avoid crowds and reduce mobility.
