Silver prices for transactions on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 rose. Today's silver trading price was recorded at US$88.42 per troy ounce. This figure is higher than the previous day's trading price of US$87.195 per troy ounce. The current situation reverses the downward trend of silver prices over the last two days.

Over the past week, silver price movements have grown by 20.23% with an average daily transaction price of US$83.816 per troy ounce. As a result, so far in 2026, silver prices have risen by 24.51% from the start-of-year level of US$71.015 per troy ounce. Meanwhile, the highest trading value for the silver commodity so far this year was transacted at US$115.15 per troy ounce on Monday, January 26, 2026.

Annually, the average silver trading price over the past five years has been on an upward trend. Meanwhile, for monthly price monitoring, transactions over the last 12 months have tended to rise. The highest average monthly price for the silver commodity was recorded in January 2026 at US$93.97 per troy ounce.

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) also noted that Indonesia had silver ore reserves of 2.8 billion tons in 2020. The reserve life is estimated to last until 214 years (2234).

Some silver-producing regions in Indonesia include Bengkalis Regency (Riau), Bontang City (East Kalimantan), Laut Island (South Kalimantan), Sambas Regency (West Kalimantan), and Bolaang Mongondow Regency (North Sulawesi).
