Weekly Household Expenditure on Fish in Central Hulu Sungai Regency

Household expenditure on crabs in Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency in 2023 was Rp16.1 per capita per week. This figure is higher compared to the previous year's expenditure, which was recorded at Rp16 per capita per week.

The five largest household expenditures on fish groups in Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency, from highest to lowest, were: snakehead fish Rp3778.5 per capita per week, other fresh/wet fish Rp3,437.28 per capita per week, nila fish Rp3170.3 per capita per week, patin fish Rp1,878.54 per capita per week, and the lowest expenditure was for snapper at Rp6.41 per capita per week.

Per capita expenditure is the cost incurred for the consumption of all household members over a month, divided by the number of household members. This expenditure can be grouped into two parts: food and non-food needs.

Expenditure on food consumption is calculated weekly, while expenditure on non-food items is calculated monthly and for the past 12 months. Both food and non-food consumption are then converted into average monthly expenditure. The average per capita consumption/expenditure figures presented in BPS publications are obtained by dividing the total consumption of all households (both consuming food and not) by the total population.
