The sharp decline in Indonesia's trade balance with Niue is due to zero export value (US$0) from Indonesia to Niue, while imports reached US$77.32 million.
The three main products imported from Niue were: Ships, boats, and floating structures (HS 89); Optical, photographic, cinematographic, measuring, checking, precision, medical or surgical instruments and apparatus (HS 90); and Clocks and watches and parts thereof (HS 91).
According to Trademap statistics, Indonesia recorded no trade with Niue in the last two years.
Globally, the trade balance for all goods improved, showing an increase in several product categories. Indonesia's total trade balance was recorded at US$21.68 billion, a 703.56% increase. In other words, Indonesia recorded a trade surplus. The previous year's trade balance with all countries worldwide was recorded at US$-3.59 billion.
