Indonesia's Top Exports to El Salvador in 2023

Indonesia recorded US$77.12 million in exports to El Salvador as of December 2023. This figure represents a 50.32% increase compared to the previous year's exports, which totaled US$51.3 million.

Indonesia's trade record with El Salvador shows an upward trend in exports over the past 10 years. 2023 marks a historic high with the highest export value ever recorded.

Of the 97 products (two-digit HS codes) exported to El Salvador, 35 products were worth more than one billion dollars. Falling under HS code 48, paper and paperboard are a group of export goods categorized together with articles of pulp, paper or paperboard. Indonesia exported US$9.95 million worth, lower than the previous period which reached US$10,504,000. Besides El Salvador, Indonesia also relies on paper and paperboard exports to the United States, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, and Italy. In addition to these main countries, Indonesia also exported this product to four other countries.
