Indonesia exported US$3.84 million worth of animal fats and oils to Zimbabwe in 2023.

Indonesia recorded US$5.15 million in exports to Zimbabwe as of December 2023. This represents a 9.07% decrease compared to the previous year's exports, which totaled US$5.67 million.

Indonesia's trade record with Zimbabwe shows an upward trend in exports over the past 10 years. The lowest export value was US$1.61 million, while the highest reached US$5.67 million.

Of the 97 products (two-digit HS codes) exported to Zimbabwe, 35 products were worth more than one billion dollars. Furthermore, according to Trademap data, 17 main Indonesian products are exported to Zimbabwe annually. In other words, these products are Indonesia's mainstay exports to Zimbabwe. The remaining products are largely also exported to other countries.

Exports of this product to Zimbabwe ranked first, with Indonesia exporting US$3.84 million. This represents an increase compared to the previous period, which recorded US$2.802 million.

2. Printed books, newspapers, pictures and other products of the printing industry

Falling under HS code 49, Printed books, newspapers, pictures and other products of the printing industry are categorized together with manuscripts. Indonesia exported US$0.32 million.

3. Man-made filaments

Indonesia also exports a significant amount of Man-made filaments to Zimbabwe. The export value of this product was US$0.21 million, lower than the previous period's US$374 thousand. Zimbabwe currently remains the largest export destination for Indonesian Man-made filaments. Besides Zimbabwe, the five largest export destinations for this product are Vietnam, Türkiye, China, the United States, and India.

4. Plastics

Indonesia exports a significant amount of Plastics to Zimbabwe. The export value of this product was recorded at US$0.2 million, lower than the previous period's US$210 thousand. Besides Zimbabwe, Indonesia also relies on exports of Plastics to the United States, China, Germany, Mexico, and France. In addition to these main countries, Indonesia is recorded as exporting this product to four other countries.

5. Paper and Paperboard

Indonesia exports a significant amount of Paper and Paperboard to Zimbabwe. The export value of this product was recorded at US$0.18 million, an increase compared to the previous period's US$89 thousand. Zimbabwe currently remains the largest export destination for Indonesian Paper and Paperboard. Besides Zimbabwe, the five largest export destinations for this product are the United States, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, and Italy.
