According to The Walt Disney Company's report, its Disney+ streaming service had 164.2 million subscribers by the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2022, which ended on October 1.

Disney's losses increased due to higher production and technology costs, as well as increased marketing expenses.

Looking ahead, Walt Disney CEO Bob Chapek is optimistic that losses will decrease thanks to subscription price increases and the introduction of advertising on Disney+.
