Kompas Poll: Public Satisfaction with Jokowi-Ma'ruf's Performance Grows

According to a Kompas Research and Development survey, public satisfaction with the performance of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and Vice President Ma'ruf Amin is increasing.

The survey results show that public satisfaction with the duo's performance reached 73.9% in January 2022. This figure is higher than the satisfaction level in October 2021, which was 66.4%.

The percentage of respondents dissatisfied with Jokowi-Ma'ruf's performance also decreased from 33.6% in October 2021 to 26.1% in January 2022.

Higher Satisfaction Among Jokowi-Ma'ruf Voters

Based on respondents' voting choices in the election, Jokowi's voters tended to express higher satisfaction than those who did not vote for him.

The satisfaction level of Jokowi voters was recorded at 87% in January 2022. Meanwhile, the satisfaction level of non-Jokowi voters was 54.3%.

Highest Satisfaction in Social Welfare

In terms of performance areas, the highest satisfaction level was observed in social welfare, reaching 78%.

Satisfaction levels in politics and law were 77.6%, law enforcement 69%, and the economy 60.4%.
