Roy Morgan Poll: Jokowi-Ma'ruf Pair Leads by 13% over Prabowo-Sandi

According to a Roy Morgan survey on the 2019 Presidential Election (Pilpres), the Joko Widodo (Jokowi)-Ma'ruf Amin ticket led its opponent, Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno, by 13%. The electability of the number 01 presidential and vice-presidential ticket in March 2019 was 56.5%, while the number 02 ticket achieved only 43.5%.

Previously, the electability of Jokowi-Jusuf Kalla in the 2014 Presidential Election reached 53%, while Prabowo-Hatta Rajasa only garnered 47%. In a December 2018 survey, the electability of Jokowi-Ma'ruf increased to 59.5%, while Prabowo-Sandi remained stable at 47%.

However, the incumbent's electability declined throughout January-March 2019, while that of their opponent increased, as shown in the graph below. The Roy Morgan survey was conducted in mid-February to March 2019, involving 1,102 respondents aged 17 and above, spread across 17 provinces.
