Responding to PSI's minimal campaign expenditure, the Chairperson of the Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu), Rahmat Bagja, stated that a re-check is necessary.
"They (PSI) campaigned everywhere, and there's no report? That's illogical and irrational," said Bagja, as reported by Antara, Wednesday (10/1/2024).
On the other hand, the Deputy Chairperson of the PSI Central Board of Trustees, Grace Natalie, said that the expenditure report is not yet final because there are still ongoing transactions that have not been settled.
"The report is not final, we are still compiling data. The data at the KPU is an incomplete document and will continue to develop," said Grace in her official statement.
The KPU explained that as of January 7, 2024, the LADK of 18 participating election parties was incomplete and did not comply with regulations.
"If the review finds documents that are declared incomplete and the scope of information is not appropriate, then the LADK of the participating Political Parties will be returned," wrote the KPU in its release, Tuesday (9/1/2024).
Each party can make corrections to the LADK within 5 days of its return, at the latest by January 12, 2024, at 23:59 local time.
