The main problem currently faced by Indonesian society is the high price of basic necessities.
This is evident from Poltracking Indonesia's survey report titled "Evaluation of 1 Year Performance of the Prabowo-Gibran Government".
In October 2025, 36.7% of respondents considered the price of basic necessities as a problem that must be immediately addressed.
"The issue that should perhaps be a focus for the future performance of the government and cabinet members is the high price of basic necessities; this is the highest [concern]," said Poltracking Indonesia Executive Director, Hanta Yuda Rasyid, when presenting the survey results in Jakarta, Sunday (October 19, 2025).
Besides the price of basic necessities, other issues with a significant percentage include poverty and difficulty finding employment.

- Rupiah exchange rate against foreign currencies: 0.4%
- Social conflict (issues related to SARA - ethnicity, religion, race, intergroup relations): 0.4%
- Difficulty in administrative/bureaucratic permit processing: 0.4%
- Prevalence of foreign workers: 0.1%
- Others: 1.9%
- Don't know/No answer: 3.4%
Poltracking conducted this survey face-to-face from October 3-10, 2025, involving 1,220 respondents aged 17 and above, spread across all provinces in Indonesia.
This survey used a multistage random sampling method with a margin of error of plus/minus 2.9% and a confidence level of 95%.
