Ricy Perdana Gozali Appointed New BI Deputy Governor: Here's His Wealth

The Indonesian House of Representatives' Commission XI appointed Ricky Perdana Gozali as Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia (BI) for the 2025-2030 period. Ricky replaces Doni Primanto Joewono, whose term is about to expire.

“Through a consensus, we have appointed Mr. Ricky Perdana Gozali as Deputy Governor of BI for the 2025-2030 period,” said the Chairman of Commission XI DPR, Mukhamad Misbakhun, as reported by *Katadata*, Wednesday (2/7/2025).

Before assuming his new position, Ricky served as the Head of BI's Representative Office in Jakarta. He began his career as a BI staff member in Semarang, Central Java, in 1995.

Throughout his career, Ricky has 17 years of experience as a BI portfolio manager. His main task was to maintain and manage the country's foreign exchange reserves.

According to the KPK's State Officials' Wealth Report (LHKPN), Ricky had assets worth Rp6.39 billion at the end of 2024.

The majority of his assets consist of land and buildings valued at Rp5.4 billion. This comprises three plots of land and buildings located in South Jakarta, Bekasi, and Semarang.

This BI Deputy Governor is also reported to own transportation assets worth Rp1.05 billion, other movable assets worth Rp682.5 million, and cash and cash equivalents worth Rp383.24 million.

His transportation assets include three cars and three motorcycles. The cars are a Honda CRV (2019), a Toyota Altis (2022), and a Toyota Yaris (2023). The motorcycles are a Honda Vario (2016), a Yamaha Xeon (2015), and a Honda Blade (2014).

Until the end of 2024, Ricky is recorded as having debts totaling Rp1.12 billion. The following is a breakdown of Ricky Perdana's assets based on the 2024 LHKPN:
