10 Countries with the Most Billionaires in the World, United States Tops in March 2026

Forbes released a list of the world's 3,333 richest people spread across 80 countries in March 2026.

The United States became the country with the most billionaires in the world as of Wednesday (March 25, 2026). The number of billionaires in this country totals 976 people.

Overall, the richest people in the United States have a total wealth of US$8.215 trillion (Rp128.343 trillion), based on the exchange rate assumption of Rp16,897/US$ on March 25, 2026.

Next, China follows in second place with 512 billionaires. The total wealth of billionaires in China amounts to US$2.044 billion (Rp31.945 trillion). The wealth of each Chinese billionaire ranges from US$1.01 - 69.3 billion, equivalent to Rp15.71 - 1.082 trillion.

Then, below China is India, which has 214 billionaires with a total wealth of US$921.47 billion (Rp14.395 trillion).

Indonesia did not make it into the top 10 countries with the most billionaires. However, Indonesia is ranked 21st with 31 billionaires who have a collective wealth of US$164.08 billion (Rp2.563 trillion).
