Kompas Research and Development surveyed Jakarta residents' satisfaction with the performance of the Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov).

Of the 23 assessment indicators, the provision of places of worship achieved the highest satisfaction rate, at 94%.

Many Jakarta residents also expressed satisfaction with the Pemprov's performance in providing modern and traditional markets.

"This achievement can be a foundation of trust for the Pemprov to build a better Jakarta in the future," wrote Kompas Research and Development researchers in their report on Monday, June 23, 2025.

Below is a complete list of the top 10 Jakarta Pemprov performances with the highest public satisfaction levels in June 2025, according to the Kompas Research and Development survey:

1. Provision of places of worship: 94%

2. Provision of modern markets: 88.4%

3. Provision of traditional markets: 84.1%

4. Disaster mitigation facilities (BPBD, fire department, flood control): 81.8%

5. Provision of playgrounds/city parks: 77.8%

6. Provision of clean water: 77.7%

7. Provision of entertainment and tourism facilities: 75.3%

8. Provision and maintenance of road access (road quality, sidewalks): 73.9%

9. Provision of public sports facilities (stadiums, community sports venues, and others): 73.7%

10. Provision of cultural facilities (galleries, performance venues, museums, arts): 72.8%

Overall, a majority or 71.3% of respondents were satisfied with the current performance of the Jakarta Pemprov. However, 26.2% of respondents were dissatisfied.

Kompas Research and Development conducted this survey with 400 respondents in Jakarta.

Data collection was conducted from June 10-14, 2025, through face-to-face interviews. The survey's margin of error is approximately 4.9%, with a 95% confidence level, under conditions of simple random sampling.
