USAID Provides the Most Assistance to Indonesia's Health Sector

Data from *ForeignAssistance.gov* shows that USAID provides financial support to several sectors in Indonesia.

The largest sector is health and population, with a value of US$66 million based on the latest data from December 19, 2024. This is equivalent to Rp1.07 trillion, assuming an exchange rate of Rp16,330 per US$.

Within this sector, assistance includes US$30 million for basic health, US$18 million for maternal and child health, US$10 million for HIV/AIDS, and US$7.5 million for water and sanitation.

Details of the basic health sub-sector include US$16 million for tuberculosis, US$7.2 million for Covid-19, and US$6.9 million for infectious diseases.

The second largest sector is administrative costs, at US$23 million or Rp375.59 billion. Third is governance, at US$18 million or Rp293.94 billion.

Fourth is infrastructure, at US$10 million or Rp163.3 billion. Outside of these top four sectors, funding ranges from US$2 million to US$6 million.

Other assistance totals US$23 million or Rp375.59 billion.
