7 Ministers Rated as Top Performers in 100 Days, According to Indikator Politik

Indikator Politik Indonesia conducted a survey on public perception of the performance of ministerial-level officials during the first 100 days of the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka administration.

Finance Minister Sri Mulyani ranked first as the minister with the best performance, chosen by 11.4% of respondents.

She faced stiff competition from Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir, whose performance was rated favorably by 11.2% of respondents.

Following them were Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, Teddy Indra Wijaya, and Yusril Ihza Mahendra.

The following is a complete list of the top 7 ministers with the best performance in the first 100 days of the Prabowo-Gibran administration, according to the Indikator survey:

1. Sri Mulyani Indrawati (Minister of Finance): 11.4%
2. Erick Thohir (Minister of State-Owned Enterprises): 11.2%
3. Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development): 4.8%
4. Teddy Indra Wijaya (Cabinet Secretary): 3.7%
5. Nasaruddin Umar (Minister of Religious Affairs): 3.1%
6. Andi Amran Sulaiman (Minister of Agriculture): 2.7%
7. Yusril Ihza Mahendra (Coordinating Minister for Law, Human Rights, Immigration, and Penitentiaries): 1.6%

Burhanuddin Muhtadi, Senior Researcher at Indikator Politik Indonesia, explained that the top seven ministers were based on *top of mind* recall, or the first names that came to respondents' minds.

"The assessment of the best performance is heavily influenced by respondents' *awareness* of the ministers' names," said Burhanuddin in an online presentation of the survey on Monday (January 27, 2025).

The Indikator survey involved 1,220 respondents spread across Indonesia, selected using *multistage random sampling*.

Data collection was conducted from January 16-21, 2025, through face-to-face interviews with trained interviewers. The survey's margin of error is approximately 2.9% at a 95% confidence level.
