The Charta Politika survey institute released the latest survey results on public satisfaction with the Jokowi-Ma'ruf Amin administration's performance. The latest survey in June 2022 shows that 68.4% of the public expressed satisfaction with the government's performance.
Public satisfaction with the government's performance increased compared to the previous survey. In April 2022, public satisfaction with the government was recorded at 62.9%.
"Public satisfaction has increased quite sharply," said Charta Politika Executive Director Yunarto Wijaya in a presentation of the survey results on Monday, June 13, 2022.
From January to April, satisfaction with the Jokowi administration fell from 71.7% to 62.9%. Then, the satisfaction level reversed course and rose to 68.4%.
According to Yunarto, two factors contributed to the increase in public satisfaction with the government's performance. The first factor is that satisfaction comes from traditional voters.
The second factor is the support from voters who supported Jokowi in the 2019 election. Those who already supported him tend to be more easily satisfied than those who did not support him during the election.
In terms of regions, there are three regions with the highest satisfaction levels. The first region is Central Java and Yogyakarta.
The second region is Bali, West Nusa Tenggara, and East Nusa Tenggara. Meanwhile, the third region is East Java.
The survey was conducted from May 25 to June 2, 2022. It used face-to-face interviews with 1,200 respondents aged 17 years and older or who met the requirements to be voters.
The survey used a multistage random sampling method and a margin of error of 2.83%.
