The Indonesian political survey institute Charta Politika Indonesia released its latest survey results on April 4, 2019. The survey shows that Prabowo Subianto, General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party, is the most popular political party leader, with 25.2% support, surpassing all other figures.
Following him are Megawati Soekarnoputri, General Chairperson of the PDI-P (Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle) with 19.9%; Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), General Chairperson of the Democratic Party with 18.1%; Muhaimin Iskandar, General Chairperson of the PKB (National Awakening Party) with 6.9%; and Surya Paloh, General Chairperson of the NasDem Party with 4.4%. Then, Harry Tanusoedibjo, General Chairperson of Perindo, with 2.9%; Airlangga Hartanto, General Chairperson of Golkar, with 1.6%; Zulkifli Hasan, General Chairperson of PAN (National Mandate Party), with 1.3%; Grace Natalie, General Chairperson of PSI (Solidarity Indonesia Party), with 1.2%; and Sohibul Iman, General Chairperson of PKS (Prosperous Justice Party), with 1%.
This national survey was conducted from March 19-25, 2019, using structured questionnaires through face-to-face interviews. The survey involved 2,000 eligible voters across 34 provinces.
