CSIS Survey: Jokowi-Ma'ruf Leads Prabowo-Sandi Among Muslim Voters

Based on the latest survey by the Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), the presidential/vice-presidential pair numbered 01, Jokowi-Ma'ruf, holds a lead over their opponent, pair number 02, Prabowo-Sandi, among Muslim voters. Jokowi-Ma'ruf's electability among Muslim voters reached 47.4%, while Prabowo-Sandi garnered only 36.3%.

Among Christian and Catholic voters, Jokowi-Ma'ruf's electability significantly surpasses their opponent, reaching 93.1% compared to Prabowo-Sandi's 4.4%. Similarly, among voters of other religions, public support for Jokowi-Ma'ruf stands at 33.3%, while Prabowo-Sandi received 13.9%.

The CSIS survey was conducted nationally from March 15-22, 2019, involving 1,960 randomly selected respondents using multistage random sampling. The survey employed face-to-face interviews with questionnaires, and has a margin of error of +/- 2.1%.
