Comparison of Jokowi's Vote Share in the 2019 and 2014 Presidential Elections

Based on the General Elections Commission (KPU) recapitulation of the 2019 Presidential Election results [https://databoks.katadata.co.id/datapublish/2019/05/21/inilah-rincian-hasil-rekapitulasi-suara-pilpres-kpu-34-provinsi], the Joko Widodo (Jokowi)-Ma'ruf Amin pair garnered 85.6 million votes (55.5%), while the Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno pair received 68.65 million votes (44.5%). Jokowi's vote share in the 2019 Presidential Election was higher than in the 2014 Presidential Election, where he obtained 53.15%.

In the 2019 Presidential Election, Jokowi won in 21 out of 34 provinces and overseas voting, compared to 23 out of 33 provinces and overseas voting in 2014.
