The Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) has proposed increasing the financial assistance for political parties (parpol) next year from Rp1,000 to Rp3,000 per valid vote received in the last general election.
"Efforts have been made and a proposal has been submitted for the 2023 fiscal year, hopefully it will be approved at Rp3,000 per vote," said the Inspector General of Kemendagri, Tomsi Tohir Balaw, as reported by *Kompas.com* on Friday (16/9/2022).
