According to a Kompas Research and Development (Litbang Kompas) survey, the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) had the highest electability in Central Java, reaching 32.5% during the survey period of November 29th to December 4th, 2023.

Gerindra had a 14.1% electability rate in Central Java, followed by PKB at 10.2%, and Golkar at 7.3%.

The Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI), chaired by President Joko Widodo's son, Kaesang Pangarep, achieved an electability of 3.9% in Central Java. This is below the parliamentary threshold of 4%.

Other political parties achieved electability rates of less than 3% in Central Java, while 20.1% of respondents did not know, did not answer, or kept their choice confidential.

The Litbang Kompas survey involved 1,364 respondents randomly selected using a stratified systematic sampling method across 38 Indonesian provinces. However, the survey did not specify the number of respondents from Central Java.

Data collection was conducted from November 29th to December 4th, 2023, through face-to-face interviews, with a margin of error of approximately 2.65% and a 95% confidence level.
