Composite Bond Index Closed Down 0.57% to 436.9606 Level (Monday, March 09, 2026)

The weakening of the rupiah exchange rate and the correction of stock prices on the stock exchange were used by investors to take profit in the domestic bond market. They sold their investments in government bonds to realize profits.

Based on the Indonesian Securities Pricing Agency (PHEI) website, the Composite Bond Index (Indonesia Composite Bond Index/ICBI) closed at 436.9606 level in trading on Monday, March 09, 2026. This figure fell 2.5 points (0.57%) from the previous day's close at 439.4623 level.

In today's transactions, many investors sold their domestic bond portfolios. This condition caused the prices of both government and corporate bonds to correct.

In detail, the Composite Bond Index Clean Price (INDOBeX Composite Clean Price) closed down 0.71 points (0.5976%) to 118.34 level. Meanwhile, the Composite Effective Yield Index (INDOBeX Effective Yield) rose 0.12 points (1.96%) to 6.3832.

The Total Return Government Bond Index (INDOBeX Government Total Return) closed down 2.5 points (0.58%) to 426.69 position. Meanwhile, the Total Return Corporate Bond Index (INDOBeX Corporate Total Return) fell 1.73 points (0.34%) to 511.39 position.

The rupiah exchange rate transaction in the spot market this afternoon weakened by Rp 108.8/US$ (0.64%) to Rp 17,010/US$. Meanwhile, the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) closed down 248 points (3.27%) to 7,337.37 level.
