Uncertainty over the Russia-Ukraine conflict is weighing on Bitcoin prices early this week.

Uncertainty surrounding the conflict between Russia and Ukraine has again weighed on the movement of some large-capitalization cryptocurrencies.

The still-uncertain geopolitical conditions in Europe have led many investors to divest from assets considered risky, such as cryptocurrencies.

The price of Bitcoin (BTC), the benchmark cryptocurrency asset, has also been affected, resulting in a correction at the beginning of this week.

According to Coinbase, the cryptocurrency market corrected by 2.05% in early week trading.

Avalanche (AVAX) traded down 5.57% to Rp1.16 million per coin on Monday (February 21, 2021) until 08:58 WIB. This decline was the deepest compared to other large-capitalization cryptocurrencies.

The next largest decline among large-capitalization cryptocurrencies was Cardano (ADA), which fell 2.98% to Rp13,86 thousand per coin. This was followed by Bitcoin, which corrected 2.07% to Rp562.97 million per coin, and Binance Coin (BNB), down 1.61% to Rp5.61 million per coin.

Following these were Ethereum (ETH), down 0.84% to Rp39.09 million per coin; XRP (XRP), correcting 0.71% to Rp11.41 thousand per coin; and Tether (USDT), also down 0.23% to Rp14.37 thousand per coin.

Meanwhile, Dogecoin (DOGE) traded up 0.61% to Rp1.99 thousand per coin today. Similarly, Terra (LUNA) rose 1.27% to Rp731.34 thousand per coin, and Solana (SOL) rose 4.21% to Rp1.36 million per coin.
