International unhusked rice prices on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, increased compared to the previous day. Daily transactions for unhusked rice contracts for the next two months were traded at USD 14.73 per hundredweight. This is equivalent to Rp 4,772.2 per kg, calculated using the Bank Indonesia exchange rate of Rp 16,199 per dollar.

Katadata Insight Center (KIC) calculations from historical data available on investing.com show that the average unhusked rice price over the last week was USD 14.485 per hundredweight. This average price is down compared to the previous week, which was recorded at USD 17.48 per hundredweight.

Meanwhile, the monthly unhusked rice price has shown a downward trend over the past 30 days. The average unhusked rice price for July was recorded at USD 16.1 per hundredweight, down 9.98 percent compared to the previous month, which was at USD 17.89 per hundredweight. The highest average monthly unhusked rice price in the last 12 months was recorded in May 2024.
